Psychological Safety
Psychological safety is confidence that one can ask questions, admit uncertainty, test ideas, or disagree without humiliation.
心理安全感是相信自己可以提问、承认不确定、尝试想法或表达分歧,而不会因此被羞辱。
It does not remove standards or disagreement. It makes unfinished reasoning visible enough to receive evidence, questions, correction, and feedback.
Observable Practices
- listen before responding;
- paraphrase to check understanding;
- challenge ideas rather than people;
- respond specifically and constructively;
- admit uncertainty and identify how to verify;
- make room for different participation styles and voices.
